Hi again Petros, I was just about to do the chalk/tire test. I am wondering if when you are doing this test on a manual, the front and rear are locked, and that’s what makes this work? I feel that in my automatic the front and rear are not connected, so this might only work if I have it popped in 4W...

Petros, could you possibly walk me through how to inspect the diffs so that I can make sure that they are both the same ratios? Or is that something that is easy enough to just ask the mechanic to check? I guess there is always the possibility that I could be going through the same situation as you ...

NWMO, yea it probably would be, but I do have a space to store it for free and a really good experienced mechanic here in Eugene. So, (IMO) If I am going to have to buy the parts anyway, might as well just do this half of the work here and then be able to drive it down later to finish the other work...
