can the connector be used as an aux in?
I'm not entirely sure if the connector for the tape deck can be used for AUX or not, but I'll double check the pin-out!
Might find something in this post

Re: Clutch Kit and Trans parts

Rockauto should have some of what you need.
They for sure have flywheels, bolts, and clutch kits. I think Rockauto also carries the seals for the transmission but I'd have to check.

Re: Big Boys Don't Cry - Or Do They?

Man, that's a shame. Your wagon is so much cleaner than mine. The frame can for sure be reinforced/remade, but it's like you've said it could be costly, especially because of not knowing how far in the damage goes. I wish I was more knowledgeable on how Pennsylvania handles inspections. If I had to ...

yours had a tape deck
whats it look like?
I'm not sure what year this radio is from as I've seen different radios in these wagons.
I'm pretty sure what's going on with the tape deck is it's getting stuck in auto reverse, but I could be wrong.

Help with original radio

A little bit ago I was given an original radio, thanks again Jimcrazy! The actual radio portion works great, however the tape deck below it has a problem. When a tape is inserted it automatically tries to fast forward the tape and will not reverse or play. Anyone have any general suggestions before ...

your panhard bar bushing looks wore out
Yeah they could use a replacement soon. They're not gone enough to have a bunch of play, yet.
Not sure if the bushings can still be found new.

Have the stickers arrived for anyone yet? They were mailed as letters.
If so I'd love to see how they turned out!

In my experience the KYB shocks are a little stiffer than others I have used.
Good to know. I honestly thought I was imagining things with the new shocks. They seemed way stiffer than normal.

Koz,

I got rid of the rear sway bar all together and don’t miss it.

Chris
Nice, does it make much difference?

Re: AE86 & AE82 Corolla parts swapping to AL25 Tercels?

I FInally got around to putting the AE86 shocks and springs into my wagon. I can now say for sure that they work. However, the shocks and springs are a bit more stiff than actual Tercel ones so keep that in mind. I went with KYB shocks and factory AE86 springs. Next I want to see if the rear sway ba...

Re: AE86 & AE82 Corolla parts swapping to AL25 Tercels?

I had made a visual inspection of the GTS corrolla RWD and found the rear axles and suspension almost identical. it means the performance rear suspension parts for the AE86 corolla should also fit in the Tercel4wd wagon. but I have nto tried it yet. be wary of the front suspension parts, the bushin...

First Round of Painting

Finally, after a long bout of filling and sanding, I got to painting my wagon. I was planning to repaint the whole car white, but to save time I'm sticking with color match for now, code 8D7. the quarters turned out really good, and so far the roof is done, but I ran out of paint before I cound fini...
