Thanks guys so what happened was the pin came out of the cam shaft that holds the cam shaft sprocket into place but i put it back and did the head gasket and now it runs again I need a water pump and alternator and I’m okay for now ha. Thanks for helping me save $$$

It started and no leaks so far and what happened was the pin cams out of the cam that holds the sprocket. I’ll keep you guys updated but i did it my self and there’s no better feeling.

Do I put anything like rtv when doing my head gasket?

I need a cam I broke the tooth that holds the sprocket and a head gasket.

I’m not sure i didn’t see any damage under the valve cover so I think I’m going to send it to my mechanic.

Well it ran great but then I got a engine leak and did the cam and crank seals and didn’t tighten the cam enough and it walk off half a inch now it won’t fire.

Salem Oregon and I met someone with it and didn’t know if I wanted it but now I love it and want to restore it.
