First, does my 5-speed transmission actually count as a 6 speed because of the extra low? Or is there also a 6 speed + extra low transmission out there? Asking because when I go to order parts it asks if my tranny is 5 or 6 speed and I'm not sure if extra low counts. Second, my extra low just plain ...

I just looked all over the rear hatch and can’t find where any switch is located that would flip the light on the dash. Is it contact on the latch itself?

Going off your list of easy swap engines, deciding between 4afe and 7afe. Which one is more reliable? It's going onto tercel tranny so I'm not looking for power I'm looking for long term reliability as a daily driver.

all of these engines have the same trans bolt up pattern: 3ac, 4ac, 4afe, 7afe, 4age only the 4ac is a direct bolt in swap. all of the others take fabricating parts, adapters What do you mean exactly when you say adapters are needed?
