Re: Squealing buzzer

Yep, just unplug it. It'd be nice to repurpose it as a "turn your lights off" reminder would take some mods but I think someone has done it already.

Re: ISO carburetor choke breaker diaphragm filter and hoses

That's a one way check valve I believe. You should be able to replace it with a generic aftermarket one that fits. I'd replace all of your vacuum lines if your check valve is that brittle...likely the lines are too. You can get a roll of silicone hose on eBay for around $20. Get the 3.5mm...works pe...

Re: Stuck Passenger Axle - Need Help ASAP

I'd try to return the cardone too. They're usually reasonable about it plus they need to know it's wrong. Since you already put it on they'll likely just credit you.

Re: Stuck Passenger Axle - Need Help ASAP

I should have updated this man...sorry. trakmotive work perfect, cardones have to be shaved down somehow. I think xirdneh is writing cardone about how they suck. Where are you located?

Re: Greater Seattle Area Tercel Meet & Greet

Yea, I must have misunderstood. Lets definitely reschedule. I got most of my front end replaced and lift finished yesterday. An inner tie rod and cv axles today and I'll be good to go for trail rides.

Re: Leaky front end

I just made one following xirdneh's blueprint here:

viewtopic.php?f=10&t=13310&p=102412&hilit=seal#p102412

Worked perfectly.

Re: Greater Seattle Area Tercel Meet & Greet

My apologies but I thought this weekend was no good for you, Petros. I made plans with a friend to replace the entire front end in my offroad rig tomorrow. Turns out I wouldn't be able to trail ride anyway as my offroad rig had been sitting a while waiting on a new CV axle and seal. I got it in last...

Did it spiderweb? I got a chip that I'm about to fix with that windshield repair stuff...seems like it will work pretty well.

Re: Tonneau cover what should I get

I think we got a troll here. If you don't live under a bridge, Gedur, then you must have chopped your Tercel? In which case you won't find a Tonneau for it...obviously.

Re: Stalling at idle/Carb rebuild parts needed

xirdneh...I'm not sure which side the solenoid was from at the moment but I'll look at my pictures later but I'm assuming it's the driver side as it's off an 83. Are you saying that it doesn't need the tip on it to function properly? I found your video...haven't made it all the way through yet but i...

What pattern is the interior? I'm unfamiliar with the 86's. Any chance the door panels are the stripey tweed look?

Re: unhappy with 80w-90 gear oil

I've read and re-read this thread and several others. I finally decided on the Redline MT-90 as well...largely from your report, Professor. I just got mine in the mail today so it's nice to see this update. :)
