Re: 1985 Tercel Sr5 river crossing

Here's my corolla with the diff lock on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dz3JHXYmXuA That's awesome. I would love to find some sand in my area but it's going to be dirt in...

1985 Tercel Sr5 river crossing

We came to a river crossing and they asked me who I wanted to ride with since they were both driving 4runners. I told them I wasn't riding with anyone and would drive myself. The water was pretty low, I did th...

Re: Switching from convential oil to synthetic
So maybe I'll switch to full synthetic just because I'm buying 15 quarts of it anyways for my other rigs... A little more won't hurt!

Re: Switching from convential oil to synthetic
As far as purchase price, In 25 years ot T4'ing I have more in oil than cars. Haven't eaten an engine or trans yet, and I drive em hard. Frequently see sub zero temps(-40 two winters ago)to further legitimize synthetics. Engines look like new inside, even the worn out one with 400k is real clean. B...

Switching from convential oil to synthetic
Is there any benefit? My tercel has about 250,000 miles on it and I want to start using Mobil one high mileage motor oil. What are the pros and cons?

Re: 1985 4x4 6 speed located in So Cal
It threw a rod through the motor. The interior is good condition, same with the clutch and transmission. It's all operable and works good. 168,000 miles with minor body rust. New motor and it's good to go. Hope this helps.

My loss is your gain. Just needs a new motor and it's good to go. You will have to tow it yourself. I am located in Southern California. Make me an offer.
