Re: Project #2 - 1985 SR5

Well for a couple hundred bucks your Dad can have it back ;) Right now it's sitting in a barn in Silverton, OR. I was hopeful to get it ready in time for the Oregon Gambler 500 but it didn't happen. The owner between your dad and I left the sunroof ajar for like 1.5 years so it's got a delightful sm...

Re: flasher mod for LED bulbs

I never got the modified (or brand new) relay to flash properly Bailey. What I did do is install the below resistors in-line just outside all 4 bulb housings and mount them with JB Weld. The resistance provided tricks the relay into thinking they are incandecent bulbs. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d...

Re: New Owner in Vancouver WA

Not a lot has changed with this guy last month! A few small projects. I was able to install my inclinometer following the guise posted here. No inclinometer plug hiding on the '85 so just a little wiring fun! Also installed some cheap yellow JDM fog lights. https://preview.ibb.co/njmu4S/20180429_195...

Re: '85 Hatchback car/parts available 2018, Portland area....

CAR HAS FACTORY CRUISE CONTROL I can PM her email to any interested parties. I could potentially pull some things and assi...

Seeking Light bar

In need of a light bar (or single roof rack) that could be modified to mount 4 rectangular auxiliary lights. Real chucky, incandecent 80's looking things. I had tried to buy a Carr brand bar with some vintage KC lights in Olympia last week but it didn't work out. Would prefer the bar be gutter mount...

Re: Project #2 - 1985 SR5

Let the car run for 1.5 hours sitting still yesterday. No worries, no overheat, no puddles under after. Interior carpets, seats, door panels and plastics were removed for cleaning and de-molding. Used white vinegar and Lysol as cleaning/killing agents. https://preview.ibb.co/es9HhH/20180408_184440.j...
