A TVSV works better when it's not hollow.
I was replacing some vac lines the other weekend when I noticed there was a black zip tie wrapped over the lowest port on the TVSV and around the big hose below it (can't remember which). After moving it, with no effort at all, the TVSV came apart at the plastic/brass joint. Turns out it was missing ...

Re: Parts compatibility
Others here will be able to give more detail, but no, I do not believe many or any of the parts you listed are compatible between models.

Re: two Tercel 4wds in Cottonwood, AZ
Yeah, I'm just biding my time 'til they get sent to the junkyard and I can go get a rear bumper and TVSV

two Tercel 4wds in Cottonwood, AZ
Not mine, just saw posting on Craigslist: http://flagstaff.craigslist.org/cto/5735459567.html
Cottonwood is between Phoenix and Flagstaff. Price is high for non-running cars, but I guess there are two and the owner came down from $2500 in about a day, so probably will come down further.

Re: Another tire size post: 205/50r15s?
Just a follow-up, I didn't end up buying those wheels so don't know if they would've ended up fitting. Keeping an eye out for Miata daisies or five-spokes instead.

Re: Another tire size post: 205/50r15s?
Thanks guys. Internet says the wheels are 15x6 with +45 offset. Seems they'll fit, but we'll see.

Another tire size post: 205/50r15s?
I've found a decent deal on 4x100 15 inch Integra LS Mesh rims with pretty much new tires in size 205/50r15. The Taco-world tire calculator says those are a bit over an inch wider than my current 175/50r13s. There were a couple posts on the board from years ago where someone said they ran tires that ...

Re: Rear bumper compatibility?
Ha, you nailed it--called them yesterday and the response was, "Oh yeah, we crushed that." Grrr. Got a line on one in southern CO from car-part.com though.

Re: Rear bumper compatibility?
Funny, I just came to the opposite conclusion from looking at pics online. It looks like the upper portion of the 4wd wagon bumper cover dips down on each side, and the body cladding where it attaches is different vs. the hatchback, so the hatch bumper doesn't attach flush the way the 4wd bumper ...

Rear bumper compatibility?
I'm looking for a rear bumper assembly for my 85 4wd SR5, and the U-Pick-It sort of near me has an 85 hatchback. They said the bumpers are compatible, but I'm not sure about that. Can anyone help me out before I drive 2 hours to find out it won't work?

Re: 1985 SR5 in Flagstaff AZ
Here are some more pics of the interior and the spreadsheet of repairs based on the past receipts (prior owner was good about keeping all that stuff). I really like the blue plaid and green exterior. My 4 year old son calls this my "new fast car" and always wants to go for rides in it. I guess ...

1985 SR5 in Flagstaff AZ
Hi all,
Great forum here, it's been super helpful already. I just picked up a seamist green 1985 SR5 wagon with 166k miles. The body is mostly straight and interior is in great shape. It was driven for years by a professor here at Northern AZ University. It had been rear-ended and lost the rear ...
