Re: new to tercel in the north coast

put a liberal coating of seam sealer around the windshield, hopefully that takes care of the leak.

Re: new to tercel in the north coast

i know that's the right way to do it, but i just want it to not be so wet inside. i believe i could accomplish this by using a silicone under the trim. fingers crossed

Re: new to tercel in the north coast

so far to fix the dying when slowing i turned the idle up to 2k i drove it home and it ran just fine, didn't die once. i noticed that i don't have a screw in the spot near the throttle positioner, is there supposed to be one there? it looks like a setup similar to an idle adjuster.

Re: new to tercel in the north coast

we didn't do anything to the clutch, it was doing it before too.
it might be the throttle positioner.

Re: new to tercel in the north coast

so i got everything back together and it runs smoother and more power. yet after awhile and when i put the clutch in to come to a stop sometimes it dies. i'm not sure what this may be, my dad was thinking it's possibly the clutch not fully disengaging? anyone else experience this?

well headgasket from autozone was canceled but was able to get one today from oreilly's for $1 more but i had it today. everything went back smoothly and discovered the o-ring on the water neck was leaking, so that's being replaced and my dad said he'd cut a new gasket while he's at work tomorrow. w...
