Thanks for the info, I saw that sender part but I bought a Denso inline pump for $45 that I'm gonna use for now. As I remember it it looked like the tank had a little bit of a low spot where the pick up was but I didn't notice anything else, is that what you mean?

If there is enough gas in the tank for the pickup to suck it up the only other thing would possibly be a restriction like a really clogged fuel filter or pickup screen, especially if the tank is rusty. It would have to be very clogged though.
