Edit - Found an alternative. Moog, $5 each, Rock Auto
Since mine did not fair too well in the removal process I need new ones. I have found OEM but at over $25 each I hope there is an alternative option. Your insight is welcome!

I am EXTREMELY strong. Well, not really. Exactly what Petros said. Corrosion inside the rubber grommets caused a thinning of the threaded shaft and when I went He-Man on it, it snapped.ARCHINSTL wrote:Just curious - and not a diss - the bar is pretty stout; how did you manage to snap it?

Re: ::WANTED:: Front sway bar for 85 SR5
I was hoping to find one a little closer but on the same hand I would like to have her on the road in the next couple weeks. I wonder what shipping would be from there?

I guess I should have mentioned that. I am in Northern Michigan.

::WANTED:: Front sway bar for 85 SR5
I recently came across a 97k mile SR5 4WD that for some reason I could't pass up. I decided to rebuild the front end and when doing so I snapped the sway bar. If anyone knows of the location of one, I would give it a good home. Thanks in advanced!
