Re: 1985 Tercel 4WD exhaust and muffler price?
Barrett, I am in Spokane also, I just had my T4 exhaust done (cat back) a couple months ago at Dave's Muffler for $150. He has been doing exhaust work for me for 15 years, look him up.

Re: 84 4wd in Portland $250 w/replacement motor
I was in Portland this weekend for a conference, drove my truck hoping to get a hold of the guy, emailed him twice and never heard back. I really wanted to tow that thing back home. Better luck next time I suppose.

Re: Rear Brake Vibration
Well I ordered rear sway bar bushings last weekend because the ones on the car were shot, thinking that maybe (fingers crossed) that was the cause of the rear end vibration. Well I got the bushings today, installed them, which was not easy. The hangars on each side which connect the sway bar to the ...

Re: Rear Brake Vibration
The more I think about this, the more I think that worn rear suspension bushings causing slop in the rear end is the cause of this vibration. I do not think it is a brake system issue, all brake components are new and adjusted properly with no grease or oil present to cause problems.

Re: REAR SUSPENSION OE NUMBERS & SOURCING
Digging into the archives here, so was it ever determined if OEM part #48706-14010 bushings will fit the upper and lower control arms?

Re: Rear Brake Vibration
Absolutely in the rear, I can make it happen specifically when pulling the emergency brake. The most baffling thing I have experienced in 25 years of working on cars.

Rear Brake Vibration
So I got a problem that has completely stumped me. When I started working on my T4 in July I replaced the rear brakes (new rotors, shoes, wheel cylinders and springs) because they were shot, this was at about 368K. Well I have put 4K on the car since then and the rear brakes have had a very noticeab...

Re: Brown Plaid Interior :: Very Nice
So you bought this beautiful Red SR5 viewtopic.php?f=15&t=11646 and are going to gut the drive train. Not judging because you can do what you want, but that is kind of sad.

Missing Emissions Jet
So I was looking at the vacuum line diagram last night and noticed this "Jet" that is on the back choke breaker vac line. Well I realized that I do not have one on this car. What is the purpose of this jet and if it is not utilized will it affect how the car runs? Thanks in advance! CB Jet...

Kind of New Member
Well I have the feeling that I should have properly introduced myself once I registered here. This seems to be a pretty tight knit group of smart guys and should not have just barged in without a formal introduction. With that out of the way, my name is Brandon I am 39 years old, married with one so...

Re: My 85' SR5
The Blacked out areas are the areas where I had some rust issues, so I sanded & treated the affected rust areas, taped off and shot multiple coats of Plasidip out of the can. The finish turned out very nice, it seems to be very durable and it peels off if you make a mistake or need to replace it...

My 85' SR5
Cleaned up the wagon last night so I thought I would take some pics and share. This is a great car I really like it, trying to preserve it for as long as possible. Enjoy!
