I took a key alarm out of one I’d junked and hooked it up so when I open any of the doors and the tailgate if the lights are on it alarms. I haven’t left my lights on since, because as you know those key alarms in our cars are quite annoying sounding.

Thanks guys,I just put this transmission in a couple months back, I flushed it all out good before I installed it, the gear oil that was in it wasn’t too dirty looking. I use 85-90wt. Carquest lube which I had always used in the old transmission changing it every 100,000kms. the reason I was asking ...

Has anyone used Royal Purple Gear oil? Is it worth the money to change it? It claims to have GL-4 and GL-5 properties which our transmissions need to work properly.

Latest tour

Took a little tour to Northern Ontario a month ago absolutely no problems at all. Turned 888,888.8kms on way up, she now has 897,000kms. on her, reeling in the million kms. milestone.

The newer ones do my sons, dcn,had a hitch on it when we bought it and my old faithful got rearended and the girl that hit me had to buy me a new bumper and it has threaded holes in it, my ‘90 Corolla All Trac has them too which actually are the exact same bumper member as the Tercel.

Exactly , I have sent 14-16 to Toyota Heaven because they were so rusted out,maybe 3 of them could have made Gamblers cars,but I strip every available part of them that I possibly can, when they hit the salvage yard there is nothing left on them.
