I wonder why it wont pass deq? Says because its modified? I had a weber on mine and it passed deq. I had to rebuild the head also, but anyways I might go check this one out. Im a 45 min drive from McMinnville and see if its worth fixing the transmission. Looks clean inside. Wish it was a sr5 though

When I have the steering wheel dug to the right I am getting a bad grinding sound. This could possibly mean a bad cv on the drivers side correct?

Disregard. Grabbed the old plug from my stock carb and ran the red wire from it to the choke

My stock carb had a vacuum operated choke and my weber has an electric one. I'm trying to figure out which 12v ignition wire I could piggy back off of to run to the choke. Has anyone done this conversion before and could inform me of which wire, or plug I could run off of?
