In his picture, the water temp sensor is there, no? Just looked at mine and I have nothing in the hole he is showing. Unless whoever he took it to put some kind of bolt in there and broke it, it's just a dead hole that shouldn't be leaking anything.

Didn't even think of that until it was too late. All are 40 over and to have it re-sleeved it would run me 600 bucks. That's a lot of money for a not so worthy motor.

The only reason I ask is because I went through all the money and trouble fixing my original 3a block when the wrist pin scored the cylinder wall. I did find another complete 3a and threw it in the car and haven't had a problem with it. It just sucks that I have this complete 3a engine sitting on my...

what is this punching of blocks of which you guys speak? my block is now .40 over due to the wrist pin. i haven't been able to find any .40 over 3ac pistons and i had remembered someone saying the the nova stuff might work.

Ive read somewhere on the site that pistons from the 85 nova will fit our 3ac. Is this accurate?
