I'm looking for these parts (bushings from sway bar to lower arm connection), and looking at the thread they seem hard to get.
I was hoping to find them at rockauto? I'm in Québec CA btw.

Re: Car wont idle right sometimes stalls
Sorry to intrude; I may not navigate the forum well but, could anyone link me to that vac diagram? I keep finding references to it but I can't get my hands on the thing!

Re: Very noticeable torque steer
Thanks for the replies. I just changed the two smaller bushings in the lower arm, but the ones attached to the sway bar were to be done as well. Then it might very well be the major contributor to the problem. Also, that bad ti-rod on the right side probably doesn't help. Xmas break is coming, I'll ...

Very noticeable torque steer
Hi all. Either at low of high speed, my steer will turn if I let go the gas pedal, and inversely if I engage the throttle. I have reads about issues of torque steer, but it seems to be mostly happening under heavy acceleration. I'm talking here, at cruising speed either on highway at 100km/h or on s...

Re: Importing into Canada
Hey there, I imported a car into Ontario from BC (I know, same country but different province) You are gonna have to go through a safety inspection to have it plated. Just a head's up: I drove my tercel, and it ran great, over 4000kms and when trying to have it inspected they found over 1500$ of wor...

Re: Abnormal whine?
Mm the weird thing is that the previous owner had just changed the clutch before I bought the tercel off him a few months ago... I would trust that, the clutch feels quite new.

Re: Abnormal whine?
I'm also wondering about a transmission whine.
Mine happens when I depress the clutch, and I can hear it better when I'm on neutral and not moving. Really just like a slight grinding whiny noise.
I replaced my gear oil yesterday, hoping that it would fix it, but did not do anything.

Re: 86 T4 SR5
Hey there! Not so many of us out east in Canada...
I'm worried about my transmission and think I may need a new one. You mention you have a spare one. Any way I could get my hands on it?
I'm in Montréal, but my girlfriend's family is in Waterloo. Sometimes I commute out to Ontario.

Best transmission/rear differential fluids
Winter is coming here in Montréal. Temperatures will drop far below the freezing point, going often as low as -20 Celcius degrees. (Which also takes us below in farenheit...)
Does that affect my choice in getting the right fluids? Any tip on doing it right?

Shock, strut and spring. Worth getting an assembly?
Hi everyone. I'm looking at changing the suspension on my 1986 4WD wagon. How can I know if the springs also need to be changed? Is it simply easier and worth it to get a complete assembly? Also, browsing on rockauto I had a hard time finding such a thing as a complete assembly for front end. Are th...

Putting a new carpet floor
The floor carpet at the front of my car was missing when I got it. Anyone has any experience with these? Would a carpet from a newer small car (because tercel wagons are nowhere to be found in the province of Québec) be a decent fit? Otherwise, would these guys be good? The model specification is no...

No I haven't found! If there was a way to get these shipped over to Mtl that'd be great!

Re: In need of seat belts (female buckle for the back seats)
I was hoping for them to just be burried under the seat, but they are unfortunately not... The previous owner told me he took them out to put them up at the front. As to where those went, well that remains a mystery...

In need of seat belts (female buckle for the back seats)
Of course I did not look for the back seat buckles when I bought the car in British Columbia... But after I drove it out to Montréal I hit a knot when I had to pass safety inspections to put a license plate on my wagon! Now there are none of these cars at any wrecker out here. Any chance to find the...
