Re: Replacing input shaft bearing (the one inside tranny)
Special Note 9: When tranny is being moved around or being installed, be aware of the problem that can be caused if the No3 (lower) Shift Fork Shaft gets moved. The shaft sticks out the front of the tranny and has the 5th gear Shift Fork attached to it. If the tranny is in neutral or reverse the sh...

Re: Replacing input shaft bearing (the one inside tranny)
Thank you so much for this write up. I used this method to get a 1/4" gap so I could lay a bead of RTV and re-seal the tranny. But, I now can't get the transmission to shift out of gear. It literally won't budge and I'm afraid that forcing it wouldn't be a good idea. I removed the transmission ...

Re: Terc delight
Got it whoop whoop! and now I have to leave for work.
I tightened down some vacuum lines and did a second once over on the routing and now it's all good.
The aap is indeed ruptured, so i capped it off. I'll get back to everyone tonight when I'm not running out the door.

I could see that. Okay. I'll pull the cover.
Found gas in one of the vacuum lines coming from that little black vacuum port on the first tunel on the manifold.

Re: Winch bumper Build
dlb- It's actually not that heavy, which was on of my concerns. It's a little heavier than the stock bumper, plus the weight of the winch. Next time I have it off, i'll be sure to check the weight. Petros- I'm way with you on that. Big bumpers are are just too impractical. tear drop formed tubing so...

Re: Terc delight
Cylinders #1 145 #2 150 #3 145 #4 145 All checked with the motor warmed and throttle open. So it looks like the compressions are all pretty much the same. keep in mind all gauges read differently. Now check out the plugs! In order from 1-4 http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z64/banesterloren/DSCN094...

It leaks a little bit towards the front. I didnt use any RTV???? not sure if I should or shouldn't.
