A couple of parts

The hardest thing I have had to do is open the air box. It took 20min and I bled... it was new... I was upset. I have replaced the ALT but it was easy, the starter was easy too. The water pump was no challenge. I have messed with heater lines and such but not a bunch. The like to blow head gaskets b...

A couple of parts

The Van does things it should not. I am working on putting a desent page together so that I can just supply a link but everything takes me longer than it should. The thing is a mountain goat like no other. Powerless like the Terc but has the benefit of a low range T-Case if you get the 5sp. The bigg...

Well Wanted to update this. I found a van, traded both my Tercels for it. Sad I know but there were many reasons it needed to be done. At the least I still have an oddball Toyota 4WD and am happy at that.

Have fun and I will ckeck back from time to time.

Very nice

Very nice looking car. Now I can not be the first with that yellow! I do have to say that I liked it in my head but it is WAY better on the car than I thought it would be... Maybe I will actually find a van then I can paint that yellow. Almost a nasty thought there.

Cool car,

4WD Toyota Van

Not sure where this goes so thought I wolud try here since it is not Tercel related. I have decided to look for a van... Not trying to be a trader as I love my Tercel but I am finding that I want more space. Going to HAVE to be 4WD as the Tercel has spoiled me. I would rather a 5sp but an auto is ok...

When you say that the Rolla hose is 14" is this the 4WD wagon or are you talking about just the regular FWD version? Are the fittings the same? What year Rolla? This may be a goood thing for those of us that want to do that 2" lift thing.

Seems there is call for another "great work" post... This PH8A filter fitting the terc is a wonderful thing. This being the case take a look at this site, http://www.trasko-usa.com/ I have used them and really like it. The cost is more. Was about 70 for the case and 10 per filter when I fi...

I do not have much to offer in the 250cc range but the Honda CX500 is a great bike. They can be had pretty cheap, water cooled, shaft drive, crazy reliable. There are CX500's and 650's out there with over 200k miles. It went with the Turbo version of the 650 though... for the CX there is a pretty ac...

OK well I just went on ordered some brakes... here is what I found so far. The tercel and paseo disks and pads are in fact the same. The corolla mentioned above is diff enough that I did not go that route. They are the same diameter and that same actual rotor thickness but the hat on the corolla is ...

SS brake lines?

Has anyone found SS brake lines that will fit the Tercel? I have done some checking now but am not coming up with much. My guess is that we will need to go with something off the Corolla.

Thanks,

I have got 5 or 6 cars around here in the junkyards. I can get you a grill if you like. Not real fast mind you as I do not get out much. You pay the shipping and I will buy the grill. I am not in this to make money. I do like your close profile bumpers but not sure I can justify the shipping. Next t...

I was stationed in Pascagoula for 2.5 years. I was just making a guess. Speeking of Katrina in the other thread I hope all is well for you. That had to suck. I would be afraid to see how much was even left after that.

Well take care,
