Re: 85 SR5 Winnsboro $1000, now $700
I'm in Athens, ga and I saw this on Craigslist. I want so bad to get another one of these like I had a couple years back. If I could get rid of my current ride I'd get it in a heartbeat

Re: Let the build begin...
So in conclusion (more or less) it is the clutch. I'll be able to get her to a shop since everything is downhill from where I live. So fingers crossed by this weekend it'll be back on the road terrorizing the seagulls. Also I believe the 1st gear issue is due to a problem with the first gear synchro.

Re: Let the build begin...
I've had transmission failures where everything would sound like it was crunching into dust and blow tranny fluid everywhere but this time there was none of that. I was unable to pick up speed despite the engine running up to 4000rpm and eventually it just would not move other than in the EL gear an...

I've been doing some research and is it not possible that my transmission didn't go but instead my clutch?

1986 SR5 BRATT
That's the Battle Ready All Terrain Transport. Unfortunately I must part with the old girl. Looking for a new home now. I'm either moving to the other side of the world or the other side of the country so I'm not in a place where I can do the repairs. It needs a transmission replacement/rebuild. Com...
