I wonder if rear wheel drive Corollas have rear axle parts that are the same as our Tercels.

There was a blue Tercel wagon in William Shatner's Weird Or What . Its in the Lights of Brown Mountain segment.

You could expect the wheel bearings to go noisy .Just like mine when pulling a boat out of the Swan River

I might have to visit the old codger at the Toyota wreckers here in Perth and see about upgrading my front anchors to MR2 specs.

Here in Oz We also call Toyotas "Toe-Joes" Especially people in the bush when referring to the old FJ40 Landcruiser.
For example " The Toe Joe should pull that "Bits are missing" (Mistubishi) out of that bog.

Dunno if you have got your dizzy yet , You can use one off another 3A or 4A engined Toyota like one out of a Corolla of the same vintage as your Tercel..

The Birdwatching model Looks cool but would'nt like to be driving it during summer.

Here in Perth on the west coast of Australia ,I often see a silver Tercel going past the Thornlie Train station in the morning.

Get another sender unit. You should not muck around with fuel tanks like that .

The oil and diesel soak has freed up the uni joint and all is well again with the steering.
In fact the bearings arent loose at all . Even though its a 1986 Tercel there's bugger all play in the steering.

My Tercel has developed stiff steering which turned out to be that universal joint joining the steering shaft to the rack. If only Toyota had not sealed these things up ,Otherwise I could have opened it up and greased it up. Its now soaking in a mix of oil and diesel which should hopefully free it u...

No need to use my heater at the moment as its around the mid to high 30's celcius. Summertime in Australia.

Mine slowly went but I got mine swapped over with a rebuilt one from a brake parts shop.
