here it is... small dent on rear driver side... body is great. small tear about 3 inch on driver side seat left shoulder area... thats it... oh and the trans issue.

Hi John.... I am up in Walnut Creek... going to look into this all engine distributing place and fingers crossed they have a tranny sitting there waiting for me too.

That is correct... engine sounds fine... and once we got it to Grass Valley... it went into drive and would move forward on the flat... just locked up in any other gear... not even neutral... So are we thinking that the only trannys are out of the 87 and 88s? I do have the auto... I would love to ge...

Ok so the tercel charged up to north Tahoe and died. Engine fires and sounds fine. Thing stalled out on a steep driveway in drive. Fired her back up and would not get up the hill. Would not go into reverse or nutural... But the automatic shifter would move. Figuring its the tranny...? Going to start...

had to get a little creative with the bungees this afternoon in preparation for the oregon trip. Seeing as i could not manage to get a hitch receiver ready.. or find one for that matter... had to go with the old rack. Threw them up there and it looked like mickey mouse... rear tires hanging out abou...

That is a great price! I paid 3k for my old 87 Samurai down there... cars are expensive. A 4wd wagon would be the perfect car down there... especially with the hwy speed limits so low.
