My car still isn't having any problems starting or powering accessories. But I still have those lights on. Should I replace the alternator? And what about the sudden high idle?

I go out to the car this morning and it starts right up. After starting and releasing the parking brake, I notice that the brake light stayed on, and the charge light is on. The car has a high idle- anywhere from 1000-2000 rpm. It declines the hotter the engine gets. Otherwise the car drives perfect...

That sounds like the perfect engine for our cars. Anyone know about swapping these engines into Tercels?

193K+ Also, how do you do 80 on a freeway? When I get to around 73, I start getting this horrible body shake and wobble, and if I were to ever hit 80, I'd lose control entirely. I had my front wheels balanced, and one of the ball joints replaced. Steady as a rock through 85- the fastest my speedo r...
