Sometimes automatics are superior to manuals. Manuals are better with less people on Earth!

Re: Toyota is launching a Heritage Parts project to reproduce old parts

Read the whole thread, we're attempting to stuff the ballot box for the AL25 Tercel. The site is what I was referring to. They are specific to Supra's and some A70s I thought it said. I saw nothing there in reference to Toyota Caribs, Corsas, Corolla IIs or Tercels. …Right... Which is why we're usi...

Looks like sports cars only.

Re: 1985 Tercel 4wd Restoration

While the car was in paint for a couple weeks I took the time to clean up all of the parts that came off the car. The bumper frames got wire wheeled, stayed with rust converter and undercoated while the plastic got a thin coat of trim paint. The grill was cleaned and painted and the 4wd logos got t...

Re: 1984 Euro Tercel 4WD Wagon

I've been lurking here for about a month or so when the inexplicable bug to get an obscure 4WD bit me. Not my first rodeo, I have a bit of a Land Cruiser 60 series "problem". :) After some searching, I managed to turn up this 2 owner 152000 miles '84 in France. No power steering or AC, does have an...

Hey all,

I’m on the look out for some tall 13” tires. I’m liking these wheels, but want 24” or so total height.

I have 185/70R13s currently on mine... :D

Re: We have lost one of our own.

Sorry to BUMP an old thread but since I didn't post on it yet, I just had to.. From the looks of the picture, Tom (whichever guy in the pic he was) looks like he was a nice guy. I had some political setbacks with him in how he responded to them but I surely know he was liberal and that satisfied me ...

Re: Another Movie Sighting...

Today, while under the weather and feeling sorry for myself, watched In The Line of Duty - Blaze of Glory , based on a true Chicago crime spree in the 1990's by a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde, Jeff and Jill Erickson. This was the first film made on the topic and starred Bradley Whitford. It pretty m...
