coolant bypass tube washer/o-ring
Having problem getting my coolant bypass tube to seat and not leak.
I am using an O-ring i found at pepboys and some liquid gasket but that is a get it on the road fix and not a preferred permanent fix.
Where can I get the washers for the tube? does anyone know what size it is?

not 40 below but I know how hard it is to start after 12 hours in below freezing, I would not want to try in 40 below without an engine warmer. I too had heard you can get to the sending unit from under the carpet and I had heard it on this site, no time to look up the post but it is here. Another thing to try would be to buy some Techron and see if it is the float sticking and the techron may stop the float from sticking. I has done wonder...

<vent>I have never seen a waterpump setup like this and since it did not match the manual I am not so sure it is stock. The thermostat was located on the lower radiator hose and the water pump when the manual says differently. The water pump has an outlet directly to the upper radiator hose mouting....
