I may be able to help with delivery on the west coast as I have a truck and tow dolly, or help you arrange shipping if needed.
Thought I would keep this one so I threw LOTS of parts at it, but I really want a Honda Fit so selling both of my T4wds ...

Maybe they are not really all that overpriced...what is a couple grand...a house payment for most people in CA? If you get a good running, clean unique car that is getting hard to find a few grand does not seem outrageous to me!

Thanks guys, I got it sorted!!
It was the distributor after all...with some finesse I got it aligned like the FSM says to do and to my surprise first try produced about 7 degrees timing right off the bat with the vacuum lines plugged. I set it at 5 degrees and the thing just idles perfect at 950RPM ...

Thanks Chico, when I had the valve cover off the other day to check clearance I could kinda peek in there and it looked like the marks were lined up on the pulley...and since engine was new rebuild from a machine shop I assumed.... :oops:
