towing my 1984 tercel 4wd
i dont like the idea of towing my car (i might just get a car trailer )but if i could pick up either end with a tow dolly which end would be preferred?

theres a saying down in mexico where i go..we say "its been baja'ed"..in other words the object is weathered (rusty)..my 2 y/o quad looks 15 y/o for example..ive been driving up and down the beach and alot of arroyos and the way all the other seals have broken and cracked i think maybe the...

"You might consider trying an adaptive that soften seals and improves seal performance. usually only cost about $10 or less, it is added to the oil. A lot simpler than replacing the seals.' the previous owners put every known additive there is in this motor so i dont think that will do anything...

i have a 84 4wd s/w thats in baja mexico all year and she sits for 6 of those 12 months for 10 years now..car just started blowing blue before i left this year and im sure its just what 4wdchico said..valve seals harden up and crack..this motor has only 125k miles and only leaks oil and has great po...

thx a bunch guys..i have an automatic so if i keep it tilted the leackage should be minamal?..btw if you have any knowlege about this auto trans it would be appriciated..i havent been able to find out any thing on it..cant even get a pan gasket..the car stays in mexico full time and i only drive it ...

ive searched the forums on this only to have the previous page expire and have to start all over..

i have a 1984 tercel SW 4x4 automatic stored in mexico..I LOVE THIS CAR!! i follow quads in it and rescue them..i was trying to find a transmission kit (filter and pan gasket) to service the tranny when i go down this winter..lordco (my parts dealer), does not have anything on this transmission..doe...
