Re: Carburettor Question
I removed the carb. again and found that two of the 4 bolts underneath the carb. were in the wrong hole. One has a hole in it and was in the wrong side. Also noticed that there was a vacuum line in the wrong spot also. Started up and runs perfect now.

Re: Carburettor Question
Thank you for the straightforward answer. No, this test was done after a carb. rebuild. Am I right in thinking that the power valve controls this?
If so then I think I might have left a ball bearing out from under the spring in the power valve chamber. I will have to disassemble the carb. and look.

Re: Vacuum Hoses
I have now actually repaired the valve by looking at the pics in this repair guide. Just waiting for the battery to charge and try it.

Re: Carburetor/engine idle concerns
I also had this problem. On the front side of the carb there is another adjustment screw that stops the car from stalling on de-celeration. I adjusted this screw a tiny bit and the idle came down. Maybe this is it?

Vacuum Hoses
I live in Montana where there are no emission laws. I have a broken TVSV and it's way too expensive to replace so I want to disconnect the vacuum lines. Does anyone know of a diagram that shows how someone has blocked/bypassed or modified all the vacuum lines in the engine bay or bypassed the TVSV ...

Re: front brake vibrations
I had this problem also and it turned out being the track control arm bushings where they join the hub assembly.
