So how much oil does your 3AC burn, or leak? I have high milage (300K) and I seem to put in about Quart in every 1,000 miles. I think most of it is leaking since I',m not getting any smoke. What is the most common areas to have leaks on these engines?

Also, what weight oil do you run? I'm using 10 ...

Did some of the Tercel SR5 Wagons have a adjustable delay wipers? I sure could use this option since we get light rain everyday in the winter.

Do you need to change the wiper motor when switching from a mist type switch to a intermintant switch? Also, my wiper fluid pump went out for my front window so I switched my fluid hose for my back window to the front. Now to spray wiper fluid I must hit my rear window button to get fluid up front ...

I noticed my "mist position" is not working on my wiper switch, but the other positions are. Has anyone had this happen? I have the Dlx, does the SR5 have delay wipers? Mine does not, but I would be nice to have here in Washington.

How difficult is it to install a rack in a 86? I think I may need to start putting some money into my wagon since I'm over 300K and have only done CV's up front. I'm also wondering what other work should be done on the front end/suspention with this high of milage?

I went under the wagon and wacked the stabilizer bar ( with the palm of my hand) and got the a metal to medal sound. I think this may be it. Does this sound about right?

Ok, I will check that out. This car has always started very quick when cold, but takes a while to fire when its up to operating temp. Are the factory shop books good? I think I have a Chiltons. So who makes the best book for this wagon? Thanks....

I had some pretty bad looking Champions in, and I have have replaced them with some new NGK's. This did not help.

This is just happening on bad roads, chuck holes, bumpy roads. My steering is tight, and tread ware seems to be normal. i'm thinking replace the struts, and go from there.

I'm troubled with how to fix an idle that goes up, and down. And also a dieseling problem when shutting down the engine. The dieseling seems to go away when I fill up with the very costly 92 octane. Does anyone have a idea what's causing these two issues, and if they are related?

I'm getting noise on the right front ( only) when I hit small ( or large bumps). Has anyone had this problem? If not, what would be the most comon cause of this. I was thinking a broken strut, but I really have no idea. Any sugestions would be great.
