Re: Cherry

So I texted him with more info, hoping to get a response, still no word but I see he has reworded the ad and bumped his price from $6200 up to $6400?? I think this will end up being another pass. I have noticed this weird phenomena around these parts, thought it was only a local thing but maybe its...

Re: 85 T4wd, Weber, New Clutch, No Rust, Extras (Mine)

Any interior photos? I don't at the moment, but I'll take some when I fetch it, if it hasn't sold by then. It's your standard patterned whonky-whonk (not the bewildering plaid) I have the cargo cover, the drivers seat has a rip or two. Oh! And it does have the alt. gauge on the dash (what are we ca...

85 T4wd, Weber, New Clutch, No Rust, Extras (Mine)

I picked up an 80's 4runner recently and doing the parking/storage shuffle. less than 3K miles on clutch (installed by one of our members. A certified auto mechanic) the weber solves all carb problems. Gets over 30 MPG driven sanely. It could use new rear shocks. http://i781.photobucket.com/albums/y...

Re: Cherry

That is a beauty, probably one of the last handful of mintys left in North America. I sold a minty goldie a couple years ago on here for $2500. Literal barn find, in California, with 147, sunroof, alum. wheels, etc. (I even brought it back to the rust belt for the buyers) $6500 just seems exorbitant...

Re: T4wd for sale on another forum I'm on...

Selling my 86 Tercel 4WD. Rebuilt motor and carb ~40K miles ago. Runs well, great in snow even with worn all-seasons. Decent heat, radio works, new speakers in rear, four total. Comes with lots of spare parts, including two (2) motors! And a Chilton's shop manual. Rattle-canned paint job, but lots o...

Very little rust in a part of the country where that's rare.

It's like playing Spy Hunter in real life. Someone following you....gun it and disappear before the smoke clears :)

Re: VW Bus Camper

I guess I'm getting old.... I use to buy these vans (68-71...71's being the best of the big windows because of the duel port 1600 and front disk) for like $300 bucks. I'd literally knock on doors, ask if the bus next to their garage or in the field was for sale, at least 50% of the time it was. I'd ...

Give it a rest? As in speak of nothing you don't' approve of ARCH?

I thought I was just participating in my own way. I forgot, liberals are control freaks in guise.

If you let them put you in a death-pital, they'll have you drugged into a stupor. Best to fix your bed at home.

Re: cat defends boy against dog

The dog looks like a pit-bull type breed. Whipping its head around like a shark, unprovoked attack, yet people still pretend they're great dogs who just get a bad rep. I hope that cat gets pampered for the rest of it's life.

Government Worship (ArchinSTL)...EDIT: (ARCHINSTL)

I remember when my own head was up my ass about the government (I was young, luckily my brain kicked in as I got older) I thought the government was our friend, that is was here to serve the people, that at worst, it was incompetent in it's machinery... Now it's as obvious as the sun coming up in th...
