i'm going to be pretty busy with school and family this whole summer
but i'll see if i can spare a day or 2

in the meantime i put a paper clip on the mouth of the carb to keep the choke slightly open
not the perfect fix but gets the car running in the mornings

and yeah, the weather's gotten warmer than when i had the problem
don't think it would be the carbon canister although i wouldn't mind checking the FSM just for the heck of it

float should have been replaced i assume

according to my knowledge, the previous owner replaced the pump just before i bought the car
and it does look kinda new... still pretty shiny
