Sounds a little like a misfire/bad plug. Have you checked to make sure they are not cracked on the procelain of the plug. Sounds exactly like what has happened to me in the past.

That is original. Few and far between.

It could also be fouled/worn spark plugs???

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in an OEM roof rack for 84-87 Tercel wagon- Still in original box-never opened. Found it upstairs at work. Obviously been up there for the last 20yrs.

What I did was drilled my own rotors, quite simple really. I made mine in a directional pattern. Just have to make sure that the holes are drilled equally throughout or you will be out of balance. I'll try and post pics on them later.

Finally bit the bullet and bought a new vacuum advance for the Tercel. Went to Pick N Pull and sucked on a dozen or so and all were as bad as mine. Even the wreckers had none.
