You can use any type of cig lighter adapter, at least 50W or so continuous, it doesn't take much to power a laptop, depends on the model i guess. As far as the gas tank issue, maybe the sensors are old and worn out, because i highly doubt it'll get crappy gas mileage the first half of the gas tank - it's usually steady

Has anyone been to bestbuy and seen those 12-inch power acoustic subwoofers with the nice plexiglass sub box, and you could see the magnet and everything *drools* And people at the store turn it up and it sounds niceeee in the store, imagine in your car :P Anyone know what i'm talkin bout? never heard of the 3A-S, but yeah i hate the fart-in-a-can raspy high-pitched sounding exhausts...they're so annoying! I hate riced out honda civic owners, they give my car a bad name...lol. i dont think that civic would go for over $6000 with all those mods :)

last night there was a race on tv, and they had old honda crx's and some tercels, none of the 84-87 models though, the newer ones. Thought that was pretty sweet :)
