Re: Front end alignment
I'm very picky about my cars and I treat them the same whether I buy them new to drive or used to play with. I don't believe it is within the capabilities of most people to do an accurate toe adjustment. I am not bashing anyone. I am simply expressing my opinions and I think they are as valid as any...

Re: Front end alignment
I'm still using the hanging laser method...seems to be the easiest and is reasonably accurate. I think (KNOW) I would take my car to a shop using real alignment (lasers, computer, precision) equipment to make sure it was done correctly. How close is "reasonably accurate" when it comes to ...

I simply followed the FSM for the proper refill technique. In addition, I now use Evans NPG+ Waterless Coolant and a 7 PSI cap. I have never had a problem overheating in stop and go traffic on hot humid days with the A/C running.

....(that is assuming it's got enough of the interior left to do so lol) What is that supposed to mean? What is so funny? My '88 Fiero looks like a brand new car inside and out. I bought it with fewer than 3,000 miles on it five years ago and it now has 22k miles on it. I don't own beaters....never...

Re: supra fog light instalation via 4lbs sledge ;)
well there are bulbs that can be used with the current sockets and are bright enough to be used for turn signals. I forget the number of the bulb, but they are used as high mount stop lamps on Cavaliers with spoilers, and Dodge neons. They cause the lgihts to blink faster than normal, but not as fa...

Re: paint color
I'd stay away from custom mixed paint, it'll hardly ever match spot on. And it's more expensive. Where did you hear that? Are you speaking from experience, opinion or hearsay? Auto body supply houses mix paints from formulas and that is the reason that they require the paint code from the tag on th...

FYI, the T3.25 bulbs that are used in the parking and side marker lights are #194 which are 14 volt, 3.8 watt bulbs. Turn signal lamps, stop light lamps and backup lamps are 27 watts. There are no T3.25 wedge base bulbs over 11 watts that I am aware of. Converting your present parking lamps for dire...

Re: Slippery Slope
According to my father (66) you're suppose to go by the sidewall pressure because "the tires have a different thickness than the ones that the car came with, so you follow the sidewall and not car for the correct pressure" when asked what to do if you have one tire that says 44psi, and an...
