Re: new paint for ron!
Oh alright, I had two hoods too, just one had a lot of dents from being sat on and such. That's going to look sick then, I wanted the rally look real bad. Yeah it had valve problems, fuel and carb issues and countless countless other small problems that just kept piling up.. Along with a crazy elect...

Re: WTB: hood scoop
Yeah mine is the cheap one from ebay but I reinforced it, I appologize for never sharing this with you guys... it actually took my almost a week to finish that scoop setup. I had a prefilter on my carb to keep out the heavy dust, I just looked up 32/36 Pre-Filter. I lined the scoop with foam and sha...

Re: new paint for ron!
Very good quality paintjob, but if you don't need the scoop I wouldn't hack up that beautiful hood. my filter stuck too far out of mine, required the damn thing. got some funny comments and drag race incidents and fun on the highway though. I love the color too, fits the tercel style.. unique, badas...

Re: WTB: hood scoop
Hey, got your email but ill post here... I picked it up off ebay.. I don't remember where abouts on ebay though. it was a paintable plastic one and I cemented it to the hood instead of using the sticky two sided tape that comes with it... I used it because: - putting washers under the back of the ho...

Re: Wheelin' in the desert
they seem to get around the same MPG, comparing the stock samurai to my tercel with a weber. the tercel is of course... a lot more comfortable, those SR5 seats were awesome. the only difference that i like MPG/Highway wise... is the samurai hits highway speeds faster and has alittle more of a pep an...

Re: Wheelin' in the desert
I like it a lot.. but it just doesn't have the class and feel of a tercel, but its a lot of fun. I love station wagons and the design is just amazing to me, so this kind of change is weird. The samurai is more "cruiser friendly" for taking people about place to place but the lack of power ...

Re: Who Has the Coolest T4WD?
haha thanks. ive always liked the original-ness of DCN's perfection of a paintjob I do not recall seeing the door sills, etc., on Terkill 's. The deletion of the rub strips on both cars adds to the sleekness (OK - sleekness by our standards...). they were color-matched because they were extremely su...

Re: Accident.
I factored in some costs and decided to repair it myself, very carefully.
I got them to repaint it for free too... I'll let you guys know how it turns out finished, I posted some pics of the bondo/sanding job in the new and very nice gallery

Good luck on your sales, that's a mighty fine price for the SR5 cluster.
