I purchased the car in November from a guy in Fla
after returning from Iraq.

The winters are VERY harsh here, as you know.

I have yet get stuck or stranded.

I will be putting my 86 Tercel 4WD Wagon up on Ebay within the next week.

Its White, 5-speed, P/S,bPB, A/C, Cruise Control and still has the factory
am/fm. It has not been butchered up. It had 167,xxx on it and gets an
average of 28 MPG. the best mpg I've. My best ever was 32 MPG.

FIXED THE PROBLEM!

After deciding it was the alternator, purchased one from Autozone for about $50.
From a few bad experiences, I matched it up before leaving the parking lot, and
realizes it was the wrong one. The parts guy failed to ask me and I didnt know
there were 2 different types; one with ...

Recently, my Tercel, upon starting, has had the charging and brake light
on. After a few high revs, it would go out. I would also notice a slight
increase in brightness of the headlights when it happens at night.
The belts are tight and battery terminals tight on a new battery.

Any help ?

Just bought an 86 DX Wagon and love it!

Its got 149K in ot, A/C, Cruise, 5-speed, and was $1600.
I got 32.5 MPG on a roadtrip.

Has anyone tried to add a factory sunroof?

I'll be looking for one if anyone can give me some
advice on the installation.
