OK, i found a 4wd wagon and i'm really excited, i really want to buy it.
the guy started it up and it ran. i couldn't drive it because he was fixing the strut and had the car jacked up.
naturally, the guy waited till i get to his house to let me know that it failed the smog check due to the timing ...

i'm heading over to the dealer as soon as i finish this. as far as the solenoid...i'm not sure if it's been diagnosed. i found this car on craigslist, and have not even seen the car itself, hopefully i will tonight or tomorrow. i'm just stoked about finding an auto 4wd, and i really want to buy it ...

thank you. i did a search on that site last night with a few basic keywords and didn't have any luck. i'll see about finding that part number. maybe that will make a difference.
the junkyard is a good idea, but i'm afraid the one tercel there is a manual.
