I only have one good hatch strut, I just had to buy some from the wrecker for my beast, turns out only one was bad

Thanks, I'm going to the wrecker on saturday seeing as I snapped the end off the stabilizer bar, maybe I'll just pull a water pump while I'm there...the engine at the wrecker has fairly low miles. If I were keeping the car I would definitely go with a new one but I'm just trying to get it functional...

I've got coolant leaking from the weep hole underneath the water pump housing...just behind the pulley. Am I going to hae to replace the pump or will an new o-ring do the trick?

I've done so many front axles that I can do a re and re in under 30 minutes now. It's fairly easy if you know the tricks...like disconnecting the lower arm and prying down to pull the old axle out. CHanging the seal is a great idea while you are in there as well.

*UPDATE* Sold the orange one a year ago. Just got an 85 4wd given to me. The guy was finished with it and had given up, he didn't want to pour any more money into it..it had a brand new rad and was leaking tranny fluid and coolant (bad)and had a dead battery and a bad alternator and the fan was on c...

ouch that sux. It is an easy job to replace if you have a whole nother one complete with tie rod ends though...just drop the old out the bottom and slide the new one up...even better if you can find a power one complete
