I need some help here, guys. I'm missing one of the lug nut studs from the left rear wheel, plus I need to check my brakes anyway. I purchased the stud Saturday, but had no luck at all in removing the brake drum so I could get the stud in place. I looked at the FSM, tried to follow the directions th...

Right on, Teddy ! Trust me, I avoid Wal-Mart whenever possible, but sometimes it's the only reasonable alternative. I'm in the Nashville TN area.

Ok, it sounds like AMSOIL is good stuff. Where is the best place to get it ?? Can you get the best deal online ? or auto parts store ? I've never seen it at Wal-Mart that I recall. What issues would I need to be prepared for if I start using it in my '85 with 140K miles on it ?? Are leaking seals ab...

Middle Tennessee here, just west of Nashville. If any of you are coming through this part of the country, give me a shout. I don't know how rare these cars are, but I'm assuming there's not that many of them around any more. However, I see an occasional one out on the road, and my local junkyard has...

You probably have a sending unit or fuel gauge issue, Guy. Mine does exactly the same thing.......needle in the gauge goes down rapidly from full to roughly 2/3 - 1/2 of a tank, then slows appreciably toward the empty mark. My low indicator light still works , which is a good thing!! ^_^ I didnt' re...

Oops !! I mis-read your post......didnt' realize until after I'd posted that you got the inclinometer. If anybody out there knows where I can get one, I'd like to hook up one in my car. Either the Terc or the 4Runner/Truck inclinometer , but I'd really like to have one out of the 4Runner/truck, with...

Takza, I'd love to snag that inclinometer from you if you're willing to part with it.
My '85 has a brown interior. Let me know the status of it , how much u want for it, etc.

Thanks,
MJ

I agree.....I've spent a bit of time this afterno on trying to figure out just what the picture of the model is. I saved the pic and then magnified it in my viewer.....it's definitely not a man, and it's definitely topless. The car is pretty interesting, too ! ;)

It sounds like all of us frequent the salvage yards.....it's interesting to me to see all the different names we have for the same thing. Here in the south , it's always been the junkyard, sounds like up in Canada you call it the wreckers, i've heard salvage yard, on and on. We should keep everybody...

Thanks ! I spent some time really cleaning the wheels tonight....turned out to be a real nice set of wheels. Very few scratches or nicks, and not pitted at all . The pics don't really show how bad the paint is on the left side of the car, though. I was cleaning the wheel openings tonight, where the ...

I was going to look at it today, but ran out of time, but should be able to sometime tomorrow or tuesday. MJ Here's some links I found: <a ...

My apologies if my post came across the wrong way. Sometimes we read things a certain way based strictly on what information is available, combined with our past experiences, and it can be easy to draw conclusions that may not be correct. I've just seen so much b/s in the car selling realm that I te...
