Free EGR valve...GONE

Post by TURTCEL »

So here is the deal. I purchased a brand new EGR valve off of Amazon for $30 plus shipping. Yeah, that's right a new EGR valve for $30 plus shipping. I installed it and ran it for 2 days. I thought it was defective so I pulled it off and put my old factory EGR valve back on. Turns out I had another issue, not a bad EGR valve.

Anyways, I know these are expensive valves and I got a great deal on it. I am willing to give this EGR to a member that truly needs one, specifically to keep their emissions system working properly. I will even mail it to you for free as long as the shipping is not something totally outrageous. It only cost $6 to ship from Texas to Idaho for me so I am guessing anywhere in the 48 states would be affordable. I will only ship within the 48 states.

Please don't just have me send you this valve for a back up or for something you might use one day. I really want it to go to someone who really needs it. I will even send it with a new gasket.

The valve has been installed and has 2 days of driving on it, with the line plugged off to keep it inactive. It has a little black soot in the chamber from being on the car but I assure you it is new. AND FREE.

I bought mine for an '85 SR5 with fed emissions so make sure it fits your same system or let me know what model you have to confirm it before I send it out. This valve has one metal hose connection for the EGR modulator...it will not work on Canadian models.

It is a STANDARD Motor Products part EGV572

This is a first come first serve offer as long as I feel you are truly in need of the EGR valve. If it sounds like you aren't gonna use it right away I will wait for another member who really needs it.

Peace
