1987 Toyota Tercel SR5 Wagon (5 door)
It is a front wheel drive car, with 4x4.
Has 205k miles.
It has the 3A four cylinder engine
Is a 5 spd manual transmission with an additional "extra low" gear when in 4WD mode.
Exterior color is Red with black
Interior is blue / light blue
I would recommend repairing the clutch as it's starting to slip. I have a new (and complete) clutch repair kit included with your purchase.
I was going to change the clutch, but have run out of time, and can't afford to spend the quoted $250-$300 for someone else to repair it for me.
Vehicle is driveable, as it is now.
Included are the original (white) rims and center caps with two excellent tires. The tires on the vehicle now are great as well
When I purchased this car, with intentions of my daughter driving it, it was missing a lot of interior stuff, exterior items, and needed the clutch repaired. . I have since taken care of all the interior stuff, plus tinted the rear windows (for privacy -they are "big" windows). Based on buyer preference, it may need other (minor) interior changes, but as it sits now, and as described it's good to go. Starts up every time! It's in average condition for a 23 year old vehicle!
Asking: $975 or best reasonable offer.
Would like to ask more, but I wish to tell it sooner, rather than later! Just in time for summer and summer gas prices.

NO MORE EMISSIONS! it past it's last one. I have had this car for 4 years.It's been a great car but needs a little TLC.It has a couple oil leaks and needs front struts which I will include. Tires are like new.I replaced them last summer. this car also has a 1.6 liter (4AC) engine out of a late 80's Corolla.it has 15 more HP than the stock engine.this is the motor that it should have had from the factory.
I have driven this car to Michigan and Tennessee a few times.Rust is minor for this area.easily fixable at the present time.I do need to clean it out. I drove it last on Christmas week to Rutland Vermont and it ran fine.since then I have bought a T100 pick up so I no longer need this.
car comes with extra5 speed transaxle assembly and matching rear axle with 4.10 gears.Currently it has the early 3.73 gears now. and extra 1.5 liter engine. Many interior parts and engine odds and ends also included.
price is pretty firm but I may consider offers if they are not rediculous. I may also consider a trade for shot guns,rifles, or Scag or Bunton Hydro walkbehind.

no broken glass, no big dents, a few rust spots, rear wiper motor needs repair. the motor works but the nylon gear got stripped. no ac. 30-35 mpg. 4x4 works great. summer & winter snow tires on rims. new clutch ,timing belt . all seals replaced in the engine. doesn't leak oil. new carrier bearing. new shocks & struts. mostly driven in the winter as a commuter car. smokes when its first started and the engine is cold, i was told it needs valve guides replaced.

Great off-road vehicle! Gold 1984 4wd Toyota Tercel 4cyl subcompact stationwagon. Manual transmission with highway gearing, will do 55 in fourth gear, 65+ in fifth. (Many 84 4wd's need fifth for 55.)
This wagon has just under 178,000 miles, so obviously she's seen better days; a few dents and scratches, but not that bad. Good engine, good clutch, new ball joints, decent wheels, roof rack. SR-5 options, inclinometer, tach, radio, etc. Some issues with rear axle vibration around 46-48mph (but drives on the highway), so selling as is to someone who likes working on these cars, hoping you'll give this Golden Gal a new life. (A parts car may also be available near Santa Cruz)
She's been very good to me, all three of my 84 and 86 4wd Tercels were really great cars! I hate to see my Golden Gal go. But I'm moving, she's just too small for my stuff, and I can only drive one car at a time.

this is the cleanest, and best taken care of original 1986 toyota tercel station wagon you will ever find. has cold air condition, automatic, power steering and power brakes. only has original 113k, 4 Michelin tires, no rust, body like new, original interior like new, no rips or tears, dash is perfect, everything works perfect, very well taken care of, runs and drives like new. completely factory original, water pump, battery, brakes, tires, complete muffler system all done in the last couple of years, and regular normal maintenance always done on time. gets 29 city 37 highway gas mileage and runs like a well taken care of toyota should. call 321 230 9548 victor dont call to early or to late .

Selling this cheap! Car is mint, it's a 1988 Toyota Tercel Wagon with only 125,000 miles! The A/C is cold and everything works on the car. It has real 4WD and is great in the snow. You can drive it 2WD to safe gas and hit the 4WD button when you need it. Just replaced ALL the belts and changed the water pump and belt tensioner, new spark plugs, spark plug wires, and other parts I forget. Eveverything maintenance on this car was just done couple of weeks ago because I had to drive it from NC and wanted to make sure it was perfect. Selling for what I bought it for before I did maintenance on it so this is a really good deal. I just don't have any use for it and it's taking up space in my driveway. The car doesn't have any dents and interior is good also. Come and see the car, you cannot find a 4WD car better on gas than this one and with such low miles for this price.
Car is an automatic, tires have very deep tread, transmission shifts very smooth. no check engine light, car is perfect

Do an internet search on these cars. The owners do not want to get rid of them. They are called unbreakable. Will go for 300,000 miles or beter. Incredible in the snow. Very hard to find in this condition. Dependable and reliable, 28-30 miles per gallon (and gas will be going up). I'm selling it because I inherited a 2004 vehicle and do not want to keep two vehicles. I will post pictures later.

Would be a good "beater with a heater" or good to keep your Tercel on the road longer.
The Good:
Runs well
4x4 works
heater works
original radio works
everything works, except the aftermarket cruise control
all glass is intact, windshield does have some cracks - but not in driver's line of vision
extra set of studded tires on rims
The Bad:
Leaks oil - oil light comes on occasionally, but pressure seems good (I never hooked a gauge up to check though)
Tailpipe missing (but not too loud)
Electric radiator fan does not seem to come on as it should - I never checked to see what the problem is, could possibly just wire it in with a switch and call it good, but if you aren't stopped too long it doesn't overheat (I never have overheated it, just seen the temp get a little warmer than I liked).
E-brake does not work (I think it was disconnected by the P.O.)
Both outside mirrors have cracks
The Ugly:
Body has rust
Brakes need some attention (you have to pump them, but it does stop)
Looking to trade for a pickup (2wd preferred), or motorcycle (KLR 650, Nighthawk, Vulcan, or similar)
