Those are cool little cars, and all but extinct. It's predictable that it would be a 5 speed; all the ECVT automatics grenaded years ago. I can't count how many immaculate 30-40k mile Justys I could have bought for about nothing because of that.

I like those cars, my friend had one, except it was 2wd.

I think they are a Suzuki swift, the swift (JDM: Cultus) was offered in 4wd in Japan and Europe, and when i was in Switzerland last year i saw a car that looked identical to say a 1991 Suzuki swift except it said Subaru 4wd on the back.

The Suzuki Swift (Geo Metro, Pontiac Firefly) is a completely different car. The later Justys were more rounder than the earlier versions, but still not a Suzuki.

Yeah, I thought the guy that posted the ad was wrong about that, the swift has a transverse engine right?

under the hood, like the drivetrain, the justy 3 cyl looks alot like a sprint/forsa engine

Old thread, but I had to reply to keep the info about small 4WD cars accurate! The Justy sold in the US/NA with the 1.2L 3-cyl was a Subaru design with no Suzuki parts. But in Europe, the Justy was] a rebadged AWD Suzuki Swift with a 1.3L 4-cyl engine. I'd love to smuggle one over here, stick the 100HP Swift GT engine in it, and register it as a Metro!

i like these, they are one of about 4 oddball small cars i really like (diesel VW rabbits, 4wd tercel, justy and YUGO). what was so horrible about the CVT models? if i understand they used a belt/variator desighn like alot of go karts and other small things used...my dunebuggy (honda odyssey 350) uses one of these also.
