T4WDOTD part 4

Hi Guys, my semi regular spot here.

Hope I'm not the only one that gets excited about Tercel's on the net?

Anyway, these French guys cruised around africa in a fleet of Tercel's with a landcruiser support back in 2001. How cool would that be? I don't know as my french is limited at the least. I am heading over there in July though! Dang I'd like to head over to Africa!

Thanks for the link, too bad the pics on their site aren't bigger, they look pretty interesting.

That is super cool! Good find! Man, I'd love to do something like that sometime. I think I'd be scared of getting shot or something though. Those are some pretty sketchy areas they passed through. That trip alone is testament to the abilities of the tercel 4wd. Talk about a harsh environment. I wonder what tires they were using.
