Very clean - no rust ! - where did this car live ?

NICE, professional installation - excellent detail in the pix. Congrats!

The engine its supposed to give 90 hp (67 kW) at 6000 rpm, correct me if I'm wrong since I couldn't find a lot of information about it.

I'm from Costa Rica, and since there is no snow here cars don't get much rust.

Thanks about the installation compliments, at the begining we had a very rough idle until a guy from the local toyota dealer got us a copy of the vacuum hose diagram, from that moment on, all was downhill, so if you guys happen to need the diagram for the 3AS just tell me and I'll scan it. :D

Very cool indeed.
The 3A-S was one of the engines I was thinking about doing a twin Weber conversion based on.

Those carbs look like the Japanese Hitachi knockoffs of SUs.
In which case, they'd run excellently...

JpSaNaB, Can I have it?

JPSaNaB, can I have the 3A-S vacuum hose diagram, can you scan it for me? It would be highly interesting, indeed. I was thinking of swapping my 3A-C for a 3A-S. Can you scan it and email it to coolkevin366@yahoo.com? Thank you. :P 8)

those are very nice engines i had one in mine a couple of years ago, but once the carbs start going foul, they are no fun, i still have it waiting for a refresh

I believe the 3A-s comes out of a Japanese Tercel from the model year 1986.
Coming from this list...

see bottom of page for Tercel listings.

JpSaNaB, do you know where you got that 3A-S Engine? Can I get one from the same place that you aquired yours? Can I get a 4A-ELU engine from the same place as well? Can you post the link of the place, like website you got this from or just tell us where you got it from?
