The T4WD of your dreams...

Post by takza »

Happened to see an SR5 T4WD wagon sitting at the side of a house a few days ago and stopped in to look at it.

It was an '86 with 65K on it....bought new by a 75 year old (?) guy...who had bought another car and had to park it outside.

No rust or damage that I could see.

Didn't want to sell it though...expects to drive it in winter.

I've been watching a 1987 non-SR5 4WD for about a year. It's parked at a technical school. The woman who owns it wants it fixed, the auto tech teacher doesn't really think it's worth fixing. So it just sits there. :x

I've been told it needs brake lines, fuel lines and a tank. Not a perfect car, but I'd give it a good home. :D
