Not sure what you are referring to, but the ring and pinion is a matched set, do not mix them up they will destroy each other. the lash setting between the two is very sensitive, and unless you know how to set the lash (requires shims of a number of thicknesses), best leave it in the carrier and change out the whole assembly, front or rear, as a unit.

Their are two separate people looking for two separate parts.
One is after a 3.73 rear assembly for an 1983 car (if you have one their desperate) i do not.
The other part is a spedo gear 22 tooth vs.20 tooth

the person looking for the 3.73 had listed on his avatar he had an '85. so unless he has another one that is an '84 not listed, he should need a 4.10 for the '85, or the 3.73 for the '84.

this is confusing; I may indeed have a spare diff in my pile of parts, not sure what ratio's I have (I know I have at least one 4.10), is it front or rear they need?

I never looked at the avatar Peter(good catch). They are requesting a model year 1983 rear diff. She has two t4's so the avatar must be the other car

when I get a chance I will see what I have. If not too far away perhaps we can meet somewhere. Puget sound is an archipelago of islands, most of them have year round residences, the larger ones have bridges or highways too them. There are several prominent ones within about 30 -40 min of my home.

Hi,

I am in australia but I am chasing the little pipe that goes to the right hand side dash vent under the steering wheel, might not be the same in the USA.

Also I am chasing maybe the little tail gate number plate surround. Mine has some weird big red thing in its place.

Can you be more specific about the pipe in question?
Perhaps a photo or even the schematic from the FSM here in this forum.
Number plate suround? Are the plates the same shape in Australia?

I can likley get the things you need but need a little more to go on PHOTOS would be great.
