Got to work on an interesting piece of equipment this week, a 1940's clark plane loader.
There isn't much information about this thing, all I know is that they used to load military planes and such with these - probably like bombs and such, during world war 2, it got some kind of award for exelence or something.
I'm happy to have gotten a chance to see first hand how a flathead motor works and even got to drive it after I checked it all out prepairing it to be sold; its not every day I get to play with a 70 - 75 year old tractor truck.

It takes more fossil fuel resources to produce new vehicles than it would take to maintain and fuel any 70's or 80's vehicle for a million miles.
