I have a gravel driveway. When I am working on Goldie, I always have a large piece of cardboard under her to catch my clumsiness.
I also bought one of these years ago, which is one of my best tool purchases!

I'm adding this to the Tool Forum.

Re: Magnetic Tool for Gravel Driveways!
Need a car mounted one around here. Lots of roofing going on after we had enough hail to call out snow plows recently. There's no better nail for car tires than roofing ones.
Would work great for grabbing sockets and bolts that love to roll to the center of the car as it's quite a bit longer than my magnet grabber tool. https://www.amazon.com/OEMTOOLS-25292-I ... et+grabber

@ Mike: I am ordering one of these this weekend! Thanks!
But - from Autozone, as it is $10, vs. $15 from Amazon - a surprise!

Re: Magnetic Tool for Gravel Driveways!
I got mine off the Matco truck, so I don't want to remember how much I spent..
Don't forget about magnet pans to keep stuff off the ground in the first place.
