The closer we get to this date, the more envious I become at not being able to make it. I hope you all have a great time putting avatar to owner next weekend (for those of you who haven't met yet), I will be there in heart~

+400, chug a sauce or three for me. Maybe I can make the meet in Sept if I can get enough time off.
It's a scientific fact that in a twin engine aircraft, when one engine fails there is always enough power in the remaining engine to make it all the way to the crash site.

I just joined the T4 world and am going to head up that way depending on the weather tomorrow...so about 50% chance I'll be seeing you all. The car will be sitting it out though.

okay, here is tentative plan. The Arlington picknpull opens at 8 am on sat, we can first gather there and go on a scavanger hunt. Than at noon we head up to the picknick area at the north end of lake Goodwin (directly west of the picknpull), for a BBQ.

See the Pick n Pull website for location, and Snohomish county website (Link to County Parks) for the lake goodwin park location.

sEe you all there. Rain or shine.

bad news: i just got back from camping and don't have time to make potato salad. fresh home-made chocolate chip cookies will have to suffice.

i should be there around 3.

Sorry all, been super busy with work commitments. Just got free. Looking forward to tomorrow, rain or shine. I'm hopping to arrive tomorrow at the picnic location around 11:30 to noon and set up. I'll see people as they roll in. I spoke with Larry and he's already North of Seattle. This should be a great showing.

i'm sorry i couldn't have stayed longer but i just wanted to say that it was still worth it. psyched to meet some of you and to also see some of you again.

what a day--last night i found i had left ron's hatch unlatched when my wife and i went camping for a week so i had to refill the battery fluid and charge the battery last night and put it back in the car this morning. then the weather on the i-5 was like driving through a waterfall with zero visibility. then i thought 3 hours was plenty of time to get to the ferry from peter's. i didn't realize that the border crossing wait would be an hour on saturday evenings. i drove ron the fastest i've ever driven him (likely the fastest he's ever gone, considering his one and only PO) and made it to the last ferry home with 5 minutes to spare. i wasn't looking forward to sleeping in the car in the parking lot so i'm pretty glad to be home now.

but it was well worth it. super glad i made it. looking forward to the next time. thanks all!

who would have thought that the first Saturday of summer was such a blustery and rainy day? The lake was white capping, horizontal rain and wind with no let up in sight...so I suggested we move the party to my house where we would be warm and dry at least. Than the real party began, and soon the weather cleared up too.

It was really great to get everyone together. I was disappointed it broke up so soon. Lots of good things to eat too, thank folks for leaving it all behind, I'll have food for a week. Thanks Larry for coming, it was great to see you again (so soon), and thanks for leaving the Corona behind! We will make good use of that.

We have to do something about the soft suspension and skinny steel wheels on your Tercel, so it will match that awsome engine of yours.

Pictures will be coming soon.
