I have for sale my 1986 toyota tercel wagon with 195,000 miles. Body and interior in good condition compared to a lot of these cars nowadays. Runs and drives, but could use work. This would be a good project for someone who can do the work themselves, get the car back to it's glory. They're really cool cars, check out Tercel4WD.com for more info. I also have a 1984 4WD Tercel wagon for parts, it's yours if you want it when you buy the running car. The parts car would need to be towed. Both transmissions work. Both cars have titles in hand. Make me any offer on either, I want them gone.

Own your own ATM machine! "Classic" 4WD Toyota, one non-smoker owner, garaged its entire life. 246,500 miles, with second engine at 205,000 miles. So old it no longer has to go through the emissions test (although last test was like a new car). I have 25 years worth of maintenance records. I love this car but have to sell because my failed knee replacement cannot tolerate the stick shift.

1987 Toyota Tercel SR5 Wagon (5 door)
Runs and Drives, and needs some work:
It is a front wheel drive car, with 4x4.
Has 205k miles.
It has the 3A four cylinder engine
Is a 5 spd manual transmission with an additional "extra low" gear when in 4WD mode.
Exterior color is Red with black
Interior is blue / light blue
I would recommend repairing the clutch as it's starting to slip. I have a new (and complete) clutch repair kit included with your purchase.
I was going to change the clutch, but have run out of time, and can't afford to spend the quoted $250-$300 for someone else to repair it for me.
Vehicle is driveable, as it is now.
Included are the original (white) rims and center caps with two excellent tires. The tires on the vehicle now are great as well. Also have owner's manual, and a repair guide.

When I purchased this car, with intentions of my daughter driving it, it was missing a lot of interior stuff, exterior items, and needed the clutch repaired. . I have since taken care of all the interior stuff, plus tinted the rear windows (for privacy -they are "big" windows), and all the exterior matters. As it sits now, and as described, it's good to go. Starts up every time! It's in average condition for a 23 year old vehicle!

Asking: $600 or best reasonable offer.

(NOTE)I replaced the radiator fan (whole assembly). The other one was "frozen" so that it didn't work, and the car's temp would rise at red lights or stop and go traffic. I put in a fan that I tested, and 100% works, but for some reason the fan will not come on and the car begins to go above normal temp when it isn't moving. I have checked the fuses, and the only things I can think of are the relay (within the same fuse block) may need to be replaced, or the temp sending unit to turn the fan on is bad.

I share these issues, to promote full disclosure about what I know about this vehicle. I have not driven it for any length of time. I purchased it back in April, and it has sat in my garage since.

86 tercel wagon, tan color, a lil rust on wheel wells, but the frame and underbody is solid with NO rust. It has ~150,000 and runs perfect. The clutch is going to need replaced. Thats why Im sellin it for so cheap. It runs and drives very good. 4x4, 5 speed, It has seat covers.

"Little Blue" is a 1986 Toyota Tercel SR5 4x4 Wagon. She has a true 4-wheel drive "on the fly" (4 Hi & 4 Low gear box). Rebuilt engine 40,000+ miles ago, with ~190,000 original miles. CD player. New environmentally friendly air conditioner, and clutch. Body is straight, and just tuned up last Fall. Street tires and winter tires. Been in the family for years, and is a dependable and inexpensive car to operate.

i bought this one, i live in seattle and getting it hear with a horible clutch was an exciting drive. unfortunatly the clutch rivets have eaten the flywheel so i had to but a new one. the car is now torn apart in my back yard and the tranny is behind it. the guy mentions 4 speen 4wd i was appawled i had never heard such a thing, turnes out to be a normal 5 speed with EL. i ended up getting it for $250 caus someone else wanted it.

whale i have it aparti did a "barto" lift to the rear and i have the camry springs for the front.
i also just ordered a weber for it with a manual choke, i hate vacuum lines

my name isnt jack that was the idiot i bought it from. no i didnt find it through hear i just saw it on Seattle.craigslist.
i took the sptings apart and my original tercel ones look like elbow pasta..... i was confused also. so with 240k miles i am pretty shure everything is entirely original... including the tranny fluid wich had a bit of water in it... one of my struts i bought also pulled past the stop point so it traveed like 2 more inches. hot to take that back later today, and yell at parts counter. not really then they break your parts on purpose.
