looking for good front diff 4.11, or trans..

Post by bleakhorizon »

Hello everyone, My name is Toby, im a new tecel wagon owner (gota two for one deal actually), well one of them runs drives and all and the other had a hell of a bang when just pushing it....found it to be missing 4 teeth on the front ring gear....

so my question is, does anyone have a good 4.11 ring and pinion for the transaxle. or anyone near portland oregon gota bad tranny with good gears....

I dont wana pull a good running parts rig apart just for the front diff.....for now i believe im just going to run it in rwd....we will c if i break anything :D ....

I checked out the three dead trannys that I have
two are 3.727 to 1 ( 41 teeth on ring, 11 on pinion)

and one oddball 3.153 to one (41 teeth on ring, 13 on pinion) (had a larger diameter flywheel too)
was connected to a 3ac engine
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.
